How it works

01Connect the repositoryA Dockerfile, and a .erha/config.yaml file for what the application needs: a database, a cache, scheduled tasks, workers, domains. An agent can write both files for you.
02Push on the production branchERHA builds the image and deploys. The deploy hook runs your migrations; if it fails, the previous version stays online.
03Review every change in a previewEach merge request gets its preview, with its own services. A preview's emails are kept in a test inbox, never sent. In production, your application sends through your own SMTP server. The preview is deleted when the merge request is closed or merged.

The same on every plan, excluding VAT and per month. Error tracking, audience and storage also work for an app hosted elsewhere.

Billed monthly on one "ERHA Cloud" line per application: a flat fee prorated to the days hosted, plus what ran (CPU, memory, disk, build minutes).

ERHA Cloud counts in no spending cap: a hosted site never stops because of a cap.

An application runs on 1 to 5 instances, depending on load. The bill counts the instances that run, by the hour.

What do I need in my repository?

A Dockerfile. ERHA builds the application image with it. If the application needs a database, a cache, scheduled tasks, workers or several domains, add a .erha/config.yaml file at the root of the repository. ERHA reads it again at every deployment.

What happens if a deployment fails?

If the deploy hook fails (a migration, for example), the deployment stops and the previous version stays online. The failure and its logs show in the Deployment tab.

What is in a preview?

The repository's applications on the merge request's branch, with their own services: Redis, Mercure and buckets start empty, emails stay in a test inbox. A database can be empty, filled from a SQL file, or copied from production and anonymised (PostgreSQL). 10 previews at most per project, each on one instance.

Are my databases backed up?

Yes, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases are managed instances, with automatic backups. Redis is not backed up: it is a cache. A database removed from .erha/config.yaml is never deleted automatically.

Can my site stop because of a spending cap?

No. ERHA Cloud counts in no cap: caps limit usage, never a hosted site.
